This ritual offers spiritual refuge and healing, fostering a deep connection to spiritual entities, totem helpers, the Creator, and Mother Earth.

We will experience an ancestral healing of the family tree from 7 generations back through the direct Father and Mother lineage, using spiritually prepared cacao. During this process, we will break free from limiting beliefs and inherited patterns from our ancestors. Through forgiveness and opening our hearts, we will cleanse and pave the way to embrace the power of our DNA and our mission in this incarnation. It is time to take responsibility for our genetic history and transform it into new codes of evolution with Gaia.

Cacao.

Together are one of the best ways to reach a state of full-body bliss. Combining these methods amplifies their power to open the heart, to expand the mind and to connect to the infinite intelligence of the body.

The cocoa plant has a rich history in Mesoamerica, dating back to 1900 BC when it emerged in the coasts of the Gulf of Mexico with the Olmecs, who were the first to cultivate and discover its unique flavour in the form of a drink mixed with water. Over time, the use of cocoa spread to Mayan populations in 600 AD and the Aztecs in 1400 AD.

The sacred cacao medicine has been used for thousands of years by the Mayans and many other cultures across the American continent. Cacao is considered "the food for the shift," and an indigenous myth tells us that whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open people's hearts and return us all to harmony.

The spirit of cocoa is one of the most powerful deities in Mayan cosmology, known as "Ku-Ku," which means "Sacred above the sacred." This tradition, bequeathed to us by our ancestors, is accompanied by shamanic healing chants and is the door to making a trip to our interior and opening our hearts.

Guided by: Rafa Semilla

Meet Rafael Ayala Silva, widely known as Rafasemilla, a Colombian percussionist and experienced medicine man based in London. With over a decade of dedicated involvement with diverse indigenous communities in Mexico and Colombia, Rafael has deeply immersed himself in their traditions and wisdom. He's facilitated profound cacao ceremonies for over 8 years and guided transformative Sweat Lodge experiences for over 6 years. Rafael is also a passionate pilgrim to sacred Wirrarika People sites in Mexico, holds a longstanding relationship with Colombian rainforest tribes, and actively organizes and promotes various cultural events in London. Currently, he is devoted to embracing and honouring the path and traditions of the Olmec people alongside Mazatec Medicine man, Don Santiago Ortela.

This ceremony is also an opportunity to connect to our ancestors to heal and give gratitude as often we carry past traumas that have been passed to us through our family lineage. The elders often said that the sweat Lodge is “the place where we remember who we are”.
